According to a statement issued by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the latest regional developments following the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding aimed at ending the war between the United States and Iran. They also emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts to facilitate dialogue and diplomatic processes.

Ambassador Al-Malkiy expressed his appreciation to Pakistan for its efforts to promote regional peace and security through the Regional Quad (R-4) mechanism. He also praised Pakistan's leading mediation role in the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding process.
