Death Toll in Chile's Forest Fires Rises to 112
The number of people who have lost their lives in the forest fires that have swept through the central and southern regions of South American country Chile has risen to 112.
According to CCTV's report, while the fires engulf the central part of the country in the Valparaiso region, firefighters from all over Chile continue to battle the flames intensely around the clock, with over 100 people dead and at least 1,600 people homeless.
Chile's Ministry of Interior has announced that the death toll in the forest fires in Valparaiso has risen to 112, with the possibility of further casualties. So far, the forest fires have affected over 15,000 homes in the region and approximately 40,000 people.
