Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

In a post on the social media platform X, Tusk wrote: "Cyberattack on the IT system of the Civic Platform... Foreign interference in the elections has begun. This attack shows Eastern traces."

Tusk did not clarify what he meant by “Eastern traces.” When asked whether he was referring to hackers from Russia or Belarus, Jan Grabiec, head of the Prime Minister's office, told the Polish state news agency PAP that the cyberattack lasted approximately 12 hours on Wednesday and involved an attempt to take control of the computers used by Civic Platform staff and election personnel. He added that he was not speaking on behalf of Poland’s security agencies but noted that Eastern cybercriminal groups often cooperate with Russia.

Grabiec also told PAP that the attack targeted the computers of Civic Platform office personnel and Polish election staff, lasting about 12 hours.

Presidential elections in Poland are scheduled for May. Among the candidates, Warsaw Mayor and Civic Platform member Rafał Trzaskowski appears to hold a decisive lead in most public opinion polls.

Opposition MP and former minister Michał Woś rejected Tusk’s statements, alleging that Tusk was preparing to manipulate the election in favor of Trzaskowski. “This is clearly Donald Tusk’s early preparation for a Romania or France-style scenario. They’re preparing for the presidential election,” he said.

Woś was likely referring to Romanian presidential candidate Călin Georgescu, who was barred from advancing after winning the first round of voting, and French National Rally leader Marine Le Pen, who was banned from political activity earlier this week following a fraud conviction.
