Dutch Defense Minister: Freedom is not something that exists by itself
Amsterdam, August 1 (Hibya) – Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said that the values of freedom and equality are under pressure around the world and must be protected.
Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius emphasized the importance of freedom and equality in a post shared on her social media account.
In her post, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said: "This is a wonderful celebration, but freedom is not something that exists by itself. Around the world, we see that our values are under pressure. This affects us all."
Highlighting the importance of continuing to defend freedom and equality, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius added: "That makes the meaning of today even greater."
