Economic cooperation meeting between Greece and Indonesia
Athens, 14 February (Hibya) - Greece’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Haris Theoharis and Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arif Havas Oegroseno met in Athens on 13 February 2026.
According to a statement from the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Co-Chairs of the Greece–Indonesia Joint Economic Committee, Greece’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Haris Theoharis and Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arif Havas Oegroseno, held a meeting in Athens on Friday, 13 February 2026.
The discussions focused on preparations for the 1st Meeting of the Joint Economic Cooperation Committee (JCEC), which has been decided to take place in Jakarta by the end of the year.
During the meeting, topics such as the organization of business delegations, mapping investment opportunities, cooperation in the shipbuilding sector and port management, as well as collaboration in tourism and energy were addressed.
The meeting, which was held in a friendly and cordial atmosphere, reflected the determination of both sides to further develop and strengthen bilateral economic relations.
