EU Commission President Leyen celebrates German Unity Day
Brussels, October 3 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen issued a message of congratulations on the occasion of German Unity Day.
Commission President Leyen stated that Germany was reunified 35 years ago.
She emphasized that they honor the courage of the people whose desire for freedom made reunification possible, adding: “And we celebrate unity – as an important milestone on the path toward a stronger and more united Europe.”
