EU Commission President Leyen meets Italian PM Meloni
Brussels, December 20 (Hibya) - European Union (EU) Commission President Ursula von der Leyen met with Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni.
EU Commission President Leyen stated that they discussed the necessity of bringing new dynamism to Europe’s role on the global stage.
She highlighted the need to establish more partnerships and alliances contributing to prosperity, adding: “We also addressed the need to intensify the fight against migrant smuggling in collaboration with stakeholders.”
