EU Commissioner Lahbib: We stand with the people of Mozambique
Brussels, December 20 (Hibya) - The European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, announced that the EU has provided emergency aid to Mozambique following tropical cyclone Chido.
EU Commissioner Lahbib expressed solidarity with the people of Mozambique.
Lahbib stated that the EU provided 900,000 euros in emergency humanitarian aid to Mozambique and organized five humanitarian air bridge flights delivering 60 tons of shelter and emergency supplies.
