EU: Eurozone Finance Ministers to Meet in Luxembourg
Luxembourg, June 11 (Hibya) - The European Union (EU) announced that Eurozone finance ministers will discuss various topics, including macroeconomic and fiscal developments and the EU’s economic security, at the upcoming Eurogroup meeting in Luxembourg.
According to a statement by the Council of the European Union, the agenda of the meeting of Eurozone finance ministers will include the economic and fiscal outlook as well as Europe’s strategic priorities.
The statement noted that macroeconomic and fiscal developments will be assessed during the meeting, and an exchange of views will also take place with International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva regarding the review of Eurozone policies.
Ministers are also expected to discuss the European Union’s economic and energy security, as well as issues related to Europe’s technological sovereignty.
