European Commission Vice President Kallas attended a meeting in Rome
Rome, January 10 (Hibya) – The European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas announced her participation in the Quint meeting in Rome, the capital of Italy, to coordinate efforts for Syria’s transition.
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas said she attended the Quint meeting in Rome to coordinate efforts for Syria’s transition.
Kallas, together with Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States, reaffirmed the need for an inclusive government that protects all minorities. She said, “The EU can gradually ease sanctions if concrete progress is achieved.”
