European Council President Costa: Celebrating the 50th anniversary of EU-China diplomatic relations
Brussels, July 24 (Hibya) - European Council President António Costa stated on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the European Union (EU) and China that economic cooperation should advance on the basis of balance and mutual benefit.
European Council President António Costa made a statement to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the EU and China.
In his statement, Costa said, "As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of EU-China diplomatic relations, our economies and societies have become closely connected."
Costa also mentioned his upcoming meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang, saying, "Today, I look forward to discussing with Premier Li how to ensure balanced, reciprocal, and beneficial economic relations."
