European leaders express support for Zelensky
Brussels, February 20 (Hibya) - Following U.S. President Donald Trump's unexpected attack calling Zelensky a dictator, European leaders expressed their support for him.
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson downplayed Trump's remarks, stating, "Yes, this is wrong. Russia started the war, and Zelensky was democratically elected. I don’t think anyone wants elections more than Ukraine."
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, speaking on Danish television, said she did not understand Trump’s attacks on Zelensky.
Frederiksen emphasized that Zelensky is fighting not only for Ukraine's freedom but also for Europe's security and, consequently, for the United States.
