Kiev, February 21 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone call with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had an extensive discussion with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on how to end the war and provide security guarantees, agreeing on shared positions.
Zelensky noted that since the beginning of Russia's invasion, Germany's total aid to Ukraine has amounted to 43.6 billion euros, adding:
"The people of Ukraine will always remember such strong support. I also informed the Chancellor of my conversation with General Kellogg and other contacts with foreign leaders, including my discussion with President Macron yesterday. We discussed in detail the steps to take for a fair peace and our vision for Europe's role in the negotiations."
