European markets head for a negative opening on Tuesday
London, December 17 (Hibya) – With central banks in focus this week, European markets are heading for a negative opening on Tuesday.
The UK's FTSE 100 index is expected to open down 18 points at 8,240, Germany's DAX fell 22 points to 20,291, France's CAC dropped 12 points to 7,342, and Italy's FTSE MIB, according to IG data, dropped 129 points to 34,618.
The US Federal Reserve’s latest two-day policy meeting begins Tuesday, and the central bank’s December 18 monetary policy decision will be a key focal point for global markets.
