New York, June 30 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher emphasized the importance of time during crises, stating that they will save as many lives as possible.

Referring to the race against time and joint efforts on the ground, Fletcher said: "Every hour, every minute matters. We will save as many lives as possible. Our Urban Search and Rescue Coordination Cell in La Guaira is working alongside local authorities, the International US Search and Rescue Teams, and OCHA/UNDAC."
Emphasizing the purpose of these efforts, Fletcher stated: "A global humanitarian response to support the people of Venezuela."
