Forest fires in Chile affected more than 40,000 people
More than 40,000 people were affected by forest fires that struck the central and southern regions of the South American country Chile.
According to CCTV reports, volunteers in Chile are providing assistance to people forced to leave their homes due to devastating forest fires in the central Valparaiso region, providing both material aid and support in rebuilding after the disaster.
According to Chile's National Risk Management Administration, more than 40,000 people were affected by the fires, and around 30 organizations have mobilized their resources and expertise to provide assistance to those in need. The country's Legal Health Service (SML) announced that the number of deaths in forest fires has risen to 131.
