Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

A four-year-old boy who accidentally knocked over a Bronze Age jar and shattered it into pieces has been welcomed back to the Hecht Museum in Haifa, Israel, a week after the mishap.

"It was just a split-second distraction. And then I heard a huge crash behind me," said Anna Geller, a mother of three from the town of Nahariya in northern Israel.

The Bronze Age jar Ariel broke last week has been displayed at the Hecht Museum in Haifa for 35 years. It was one of the only vessels of size and was still complete when discovered. It was likely used to hold wine or oil and dates to between 2200 and 1500 B.C.

On Friday, the family returned to the museum. Ariel presented the museum with his clay vase and was met with a generous staff and curators.

Roee Shafir, a museum restoration specialist, said the repairs would be relatively simple because the pieces came from a single jar. Archaeologists often face the more difficult task of sifting through piles of pieces from multiple objects and trying to piece them together.
