Ghebreyesus: First plane carrying medical supplies has arrived in Beirut
Geneva, October 4 (Hibya) – WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced that the first plane carrying medical supplies has arrived in Beirut, Lebanon’s capital.
WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus reported that the first plane carrying enough medical supplies to treat tens of thousands of wounded has reached Beirut, Lebanon.
He added that two more planes carrying trauma supplies, as well as mental health and cholera materials, are expected to arrive in the afternoon. "Another flight is expected to land in Beirut tomorrow," Ghebreyesus added.
