Ghebreyesus: Thousands of patients continue to be deprived of healthcare services
Geneva, March 31 (Hibya) - Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, stated that due to only 10 hospitals operating at a minimum level in Gaza, thousands of patients continue to be deprived of healthcare services.
Ghebreyesus noted that thousands of patients continue to be deprived of healthcare services due to minimal activity in Gaza, and used the following expressions:
"The urgent evacuation of approximately 9,000 patients abroad is required for life-saving healthcare services, including cancer treatment, injuries resulting from airstrikes, kidney dialysis, and other chronic conditions."
