Grandi: Early recovery efforts in Syria must be bolder and faster
Geneva, February 18 (Hibya) - United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, emphasized the need to accelerate early recovery efforts in Syria.
The UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Grandi, stated that since the fall of the regime in Syria, an estimated 280,000 Syrian refugees and over 800,000 internally displaced persons have returned to their homes.
Grandi stressed that early recovery efforts must be bolder and faster; otherwise, people will be forced to leave again.
