Guterres condemns violation against UN facilities in East Jerusalem
New York, February 19 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned the violation against UN facilities in East Jerusalem.
In a statement by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), it was stated that UN Secretary-General Guterres strongly condemned the violation against UN facilities in East Jerusalem.
The statement mentioned that Israeli forces forcibly entered the UNRWA Kalandia Educational Center and attempted to close UNRWA schools:
“This affected more than 600 students and staff. Education must be protected. International law must be enforced.”
