Guterres Offers Condolences for Chile Wildfire Victims
United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres extended his condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the wildfires in Chile.
UN Secretary-General Guterres stated that he witnessed the generosity of the Chilean people during his visit to Chile in November and said, "I extend my condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the terrible wildfires and offer the support of the UN to the Chilean people and their government in this difficult time."
