Güven Healthcare Group Brings Major Healthcare Initiative to Iraq
In line with its vision to strengthen international cooperation in the healthcare sector, Güven Healthcare Group is preparing to host the “Contemporary Neurosurgery Congress” in Baghdad on December 20, aiming to enhance the exchange of knowledge and experience with Iraqi healthcare professionals.
The congress, which will be held on December 20, 2024, at the Babil Rotana Hotel, will take place with the participation of Güven Healthcare Group Board Chairwoman Banu Küçükel. During the event, internationally recognized specialists from Güven Healthcare Group in the fields of neurosurgery and interventional radiology will share current approaches and advanced surgical techniques with their Iraqi colleagues.
As part of the congress, Neurosurgery Specialist Prof. Dr. Hakan Emmez, Interventional Radiology Specialist Prof. Dr. Mehmet Murat Fırat, and Neurosurgery Specialist Prof. Dr. Mesut Emre Yaman will take part as speakers.
The experts, who have made significant contributions in their respective fields, will address a wide range of topics—from contemporary neurosurgical practices to current approaches in interventional radiology—sharing their scientific knowledge and clinical experience.
With this important organization, Güven Healthcare Group aims not only to facilitate the transfer of medical knowledge, but also to contribute to the development of regional healthcare services, strengthen Türkiye–Iraq healthcare cooperation, and establish sustainable international partnerships. The congress will provide an important platform for further deepening existing healthcare relations between the two countries.
The congress, to be held in Baghdad on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Babil Rotana Hotel, will once again demonstrate Güven Healthcare Group’s international healthcare vision and the importance it places on regional collaborations.
