Herzog: The Jewish community in Panama is an important human bridge
Jerusalem, May 7 (Hibya) - Israeli President Isaac Herzog made statements regarding the cultural ties between the two countries and the role of the community in the region.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog visited Jewish schools and community centers in Panama, holding meetings with educators, students, and religious leaders.
Referring to the importance of the Jewish community, Herzog said, “The Jewish community in Panama is an important human bridge between Israel and Panama.”
Emphasizing the importance of the Jewish community in Panama, he stated, “With a historic past, this community maintains a proud and vibrant Jewish life and uniquely combines Eastern and Western traditions.”
Providing information about the meetings held, President Herzog said, “We had inspiring meetings with students, teachers, and community members from all Jewish schools, as well as with diverse leaders and rabbis from every segment of the local Jewish community.”
