Ukrainian President Zelensky said in a post on his social media account that Russia's war against Ukraine must end.

Zelensky said that the war has led to wide-ranging consequences, including loss of life, the destruction of cities and villages, problems in food security and energy, as well as developments in unmanned aerial vehicles and strike capabilities.

Stating that Ukraine has been seeking peace since the first year of the war, Zelensky said they had put forward dozens of diplomatic proposals aimed at ending the war, ensuring security and preventing new Russian attacks.

Zelensky said that dialogue with US President Donald Trump and the United States is continuing and that ideas aimed at achieving peace are also on the agenda.

Stating that Ukraine's energy sector, critical infrastructure and food exports should not be targeted by Russia, Zelensky said that if this is ensured, Ukraine is also ready to take reciprocal steps aimed at reducing tensions.

Zelensky said they would discuss these issues with their partners in New York within the framework of the United Nations General Assembly.
