Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General: Israel is mistaken if it thinks it will get away with it
Lebanon, 30 September (Hibya) – Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem made a statement.
Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem made a statement following the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
Some key points from Naim Qassem's speech:
"As written in the Quran, those who have given their lives in the path of Allah and await martyrdom, may Islam grant us all the honor of dying for it. Nasrallah will always be with us forever. Of course, I would like to extend my condolences to the families of the other martyrs.
Israel continues to carry out massacres and commit crimes in every region of Lebanon. Israel targets specific villages, towns, and homes. In all of these homes, the traces of Israeli aggression are visible. Israel attacks healthcare workers, civilians, everyone. It attacks people in the streets and in their homes, and these people are not fighters.
Israel commits massacres against civilians and continues to commit crimes. The United States supports it with all available means. The United States is also complicit in Israel's crimes. In addition to unlimited military support, they provide all forms of cultural, political, and economic support. If Israel thinks that its brutality and aggression will go unpunished, it is gravely mistaken.
We see the pain and sacrifice, but do not forget that we live with the love of martyrdom. Some of us will lose our lives, but others will continue to protect the path to victory."
