IDF: Air Force intercepted a drone entering the country from Lebanon
Jerusalem, October 29 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that the Air Force intercepted a drone entering the country from Lebanon.
According to the IDF statement, alarms were triggered in Upper Galilee between 07:50 and 07:51 due to an enemy drone infiltration, leading the Air Force to intercept the drone entering from Lebanon.
The statement added that a preliminary investigation found that the drone, which crossed into the Western Galilee region at 07:09, fell in an open area near Nahariya.
"Shrapnel fragments were found at the site of the fall. Preliminary investigations revealed that the drone, which fell in an open area in Ashkelon earlier today, had been launched from Yemen."
