The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that, following a situational assessment, a 24-hour closed military zone order will be imposed on specific routes in the Western Negev region.

According to the statement, the order will be in effect from 08:00 today until 08:00 tomorrow and will cover the area from the Yad Mordechai Junction west of Highway 34 to the Shaar Hanegev Junction, and from there to Kerem Shalom west of Highway 232.

The IDF stated that entry to and exit from the communities in the area, where military preparations are continuing, will remain permitted for residents and workers.
