IDF: Four coffins containing hostages handed over to Red Cross
Jerusalem, February 20 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that four coffins containing hostages have been handed over to the Red Cross.
According to information provided by the Red Cross, the coffins containing the hostages have been transferred and are on their way to the IDF and Shin Bet forces in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog commented on the matter, saying: "Words are not enough. Our hearts, the hearts of an entire nation, are shattered. On behalf of the State of Israel, I bow my head and ask for forgiveness. I ask for forgiveness for not being able to protect you on that terrible day. I ask for forgiveness for not being able to bring you home safely. May their memory be blessed."
