IDF says four Hamas members killed in northern Gaza
Jerusalem, July 1 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that four members of Hamas' military wing were killed during operations carried out in the northern Gaza Strip last week.
In a statement, the IDF said that four members of Hamas' military wing had been killed.
It claimed that the individuals killed had been involved in planning attacks against Israeli forces operating in the Gaza Strip. According to the statement, Wael Mahmoud Ali Lebed and Mu'az Muhammad Hassan Ahmed served as anti-tank operatives, Sameh Abu Kamil was a squad commander, and Akram Ashraf Hamad Lebed served as a sniper.
The IDF also said that during operations conducted on Tuesday, launch sites and launchers allegedly used by Hamas to plan attacks against Israeli forces and Israeli civilians were destroyed.
The statement added that Israeli forces under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with existing agreements and will continue operations aimed at "eliminating immediate threats."
