In the IDF statement, it was reported that the strike targeted key figures located in the command and control center of the Palestinian Islamic Movement in Gaza City.

The statement noted that the complex was used by these individuals to plan and execute terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens and IDF forces.

“Prior to the strike, multiple steps were taken to minimize harm to civilians, including the use of precision weapons, advance warnings, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence. The IDF and Shin Bet will continue their operations against the Palestinian Islamic Movement in order to protect the State of Israel,” the statement said.
