In a statement, the IDF reported that the military and Shin Bet carried out a strike on targets located within Hamas's command center in the Deir al-Balah area of the Gaza Strip.

The statement noted that the facility was used to plan and execute terrorist activities against Israeli citizens and IDF forces.

"Prior to the attack, various measures were taken to minimize civilian casualties, including the use of precision munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence. Terrorist organizations systematically violate international law by ruthlessly using civilian institutions for terrorist activities," the statement added.
