Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi held phone call with his Italian counterpart
Tehran, May 24 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi held a phone call with Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
While in Rome to attend the fifth round of indirect talks with the US, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi called his Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani to brief him on the outcome of the negotiations.
Araghchi thanked his counterpart for Italy’s cooperation in hosting this round of talks with Oman in Rome, describing the discussions as professional and reasonable.
Tajani expressed appreciation for Iran’s responsible approach to diplomacy and thanked Araghchi for the briefing on the fifth round of talks with the US. He also affirmed that Italy is ready to continue offering support in this process.
