Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Monday that they would remain at the outposts in Lebanon "to continue defending our residents and ensuring there is no immediate threat."

In November, Israel and Hezbollah ended a year-long war through a ceasefire partly brokered by the United States. The initial deadline for Israel’s withdrawal was set for January but was extended to February 18 at Israel’s request.

In October 2023, after Hezbollah attacked Israel in solidarity with Hamas, around 60,000 Israelis in the north were forced from their homes. Few have returned to the border towns devastated by rocket fire. The year-long low-level conflict culminated last fall with Israel’s occupation and bombing campaign, which displaced more than one million Lebanese civilians.
