The Israel Defense Forces stated that they have expanded ground operations in the Darg Tufah area in northern Gaza Strip.

The IDF noted that the operation began overnight in the Darg Tufah neighborhood of Gaza City, saying: “The operation aims to deepen security control in the area and expand the security zone. So far, our forces have neutralized many terrorists, destroyed observation posts, terrorist infrastructure, and an underground route. Prior to and during the operation, IDF forces allow the evacuation of civilians from the conflict zone through designated safe routes for their safety.”
