Israeli Foreign Ministry criticizes Wall Street Journal report
Israel's Foreign Ministry criticized a Wall Street Journal report about Christians in Israel, arguing that it does not reflect the reality of the country's Christian community.
In its statement, the ministry said: "The Wall Street Journal has turned radical voices and extreme cases into the face of an entire country while ignoring nearly 200,000 Christians whose lives tell the exact opposite story."
The statement also claimed that Israel is the only country in the Middle East where the Christian population is steadily growing, noting that Christian citizens serve in many sectors, including the judiciary, healthcare, academia, local government, diplomacy, and security.
The ministry added: "The report published by the Wall Street Journal is a distortion of reality disguised as journalism. It is misleading and shameful."
