Jetten: Europe needs to become stronger in artificial intelligence and technology
Amsterdam, September 2 (Hibya) - During French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to the Netherlands, efforts to increase Europe’s capacity in artificial intelligence and technology and strengthen cooperation between countries were discussed.
Dutch Prime Minister Jetten made statements on technological cooperation between the two countries as part of French President Macron’s visit to the Netherlands.
Jetten said companies and technology hubs such as Brainport Eindhoven and ASML in the Netherlands and Mistral in France contribute to Europe’s technological capacity.
Stating that Europe needs to achieve a stronger position in artificial intelligence and technology, Jetten said companies, research institutions, talent and industry would be better connected.
Jetten also said investment should be increased, regulations improved and energy infrastructure developed, adding that France and the Netherlands would work together with other European countries and technology companies, particularly Germany and the European Commission.
