Kallas: Food must never be used as a weapon of war
New York, September 22 (Hibya) - EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said grain exports via the Black Sea should resume.
According to a statement by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, attention was drawn to the importance of grain transported from Ukraine to countries around the world.
Kallas argued that Russia was blocking exports via the Black Sea and that this was negatively affecting global food security. Noting that the European Union had called for an end to the attacks and the resumption of grain shipments, Kallas said: "Food must never be used as a weapon of war."
