Kallas: We are taking the EU-India partnership even further
Brussels, July 14 (Hibya) – European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas discussed cooperation in trade, security and maritime affairs with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

Kallas said this year has been a historic one for EU-India relations, noting that cooperation between the two sides has deepened in the fields of trade, technology, security and defence.
Kallas stated that the meeting focused on further strengthening the strategic partnership, particularly in maritime security, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding freedom of navigation, ensuring open and resilient supply chains, and enhancing cooperation between the EU's ATALANTA and ASPIDES operations and the Indian Navy.
