Swedish Prime Minister Kristersson said that many Swedes are concerned about the meaning of last night’s meeting between Putin and Trump.

He stressed that a bad peace on Russia’s terms could mean that Russia would threaten even more European countries, and added:

"Therefore, it is extremely important that a united Europe continues to give Ukraine all the support it needs not to lose the war. From now on, the government will continue close dialogue with Ukraine, other European countries, and the United States. Pressure on Russia must be maintained to achieve a ceasefire and to end the war with strong security guarantees for the future."
