Lahbib: The EU welcomes the U.S. commitment of additional humanitarian aid funding
Brussels, May 15 (Hibya) - European Union (EU) Commissioner for Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that they welcome the United States' decision to provide additional humanitarian aid funding.
European Union (EU) Commissioner for Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib addressed the growing humanitarian needs worldwide and the international cooperation required in this regard.
Emphasizing the importance of global partnership in delivering aid, Lahbib said: “The EU welcomes the U.S. commitment of additional humanitarian aid funding. In a world facing increasing humanitarian needs, strong cooperation is essential to deliver life-saving aid worldwide.”
Highlighting future cooperation and relations with global actors, Lahbib stated: “We look forward to working closely with the U.S., other global donors, and the UN Relief Chief.”
