Lahbib: The temporary ceasefire in Myanmar is a positive development
Brussels, 3 April (Hibya) – European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said the temporary ceasefire announced by the Myanmar army and other parties in the conflict is a positive development.
EU Commissioner Lahbib made a statement regarding the temporary ceasefire in Myanmar, calling it a positive development. She said, “Emergency teams and humanitarian workers need security and access to deliver much-needed assistance to the affected people. The EU will continue to support these efforts.”
