Lahbib: We must ensure equal opportunities and rights for the Roma community
Brussels, April 3 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said that to build a true union of equality, equal opportunities and rights must be guaranteed for the Roma community.
Commissioner Lahbib emphasized that providing equal opportunities and rights to the Roma community is essential for creating a genuine union of equality.
She noted that progress has been made but further steps are needed in employment, health, and housing. “With continuous effort, we can build a more inclusive society for everyone,” she said.
