Lavrov: Russia will reconsider its negotiating position on Ukraine
Moscow, December 29 (Hibya) – Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that in light of Ukraine’s drone attack on the Russian Presidential Palace and considering the Kyiv regime’s final shift toward a policy of state terrorism, Moscow will reconsider its negotiating position.
Lavrov said: “On the night of December 28–29, 2025, the Kyiv regime carried out a terrorist attack on the state residence of the President of the Russian Federation in the Novgorod region, using 91 long-range attack drones.”
Officials stated that all drones were destroyed by air defense forces and that there were no casualties. Lavrov emphasized that such reckless actions by Kyiv would not go unanswered.
