Lazzarini: The rising death toll fuels growing indifference
New York, October 1 (Hibya) – The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, stated that reports indicate an average of 100 people are killed every day in Gaza due to Israeli military operations or attacks on food distribution points of the "Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation".
UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said in his statement: "It is reported that in Gaza, an average of 100 people are killed every day due to Israeli military operations or attacks on food points of the ‘Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation’."
Lazzarini added that others are dying from hunger or lack of medical care, stressing: "The rising death toll fuels growing indifference."
