Leyen: Europe is ready to respond to the universal tariffs announced by the US
Brussels, April 3 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that the European Union is ready to respond to the universal tariffs announced by the United States.
Von der Leyen emphasized that the US-announced universal tariffs have dealt a heavy blow to businesses and consumers around the world.
Stating that Europe is ready to respond, Leyen said: “We will always protect our interests and values. We are also ready to take part.”
