Lula: An election is not just a choice at the ballot box
Brazil, October 2 (Hibya) - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva shared a post on his social media account regarding the election process.
Lula said that an election is not merely about making a choice, but is also a choice between democracy and denialism, respect and indifference, and truth and lies.
Lula said they would not forget the lives lost due to the lack of vaccines, the disrespect shown toward the suffering of the people, the return of rising hunger in the country and deforestation, adding that they would continue on their path with determination.
Lula stated that they would ensure a fair and sovereign country with opportunities for everyone and that no one would divert them from this path.
