Italian Prime Minister Meloni stated that she is following with profound sadness the dramatic news coming from Sydney.

Condemning once again all forms of violence and antisemitism with determination, Meloni said that Italy is paying tribute to the memory of those who lost their lives, expressing solidarity with their families, the injured, and Jewish communities, and reaffirming its friendship with the Australian people.

UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, commenting on the attack, said that the images coming from Bondi Beach were extremely shocking and distressing, adding:

“My thoughts are with everyone affected by the incident and with Australia’s emergency services. British nationals are advised to follow the guidance of local police and authorities and, if necessary, to contact the British Consulate General in Sydney.”
