Metsola: Energy security and preparedness are important for Europe
Brussels, October 6 (Hibya) - European Parliament President Roberta Metsola said she discussed energy security, preparedness and the European Union's long-term budget with Portuguese Prime Minister Luis Montenegro in the context of the challenges facing Europe.
European Parliament President Metsola held an exchange with Portuguese Prime Minister Montenegro on issues on Europe's agenda.
In a post on her social media account, Metsola said, "Portugal's voice and your leadership matter for Europe at this challenging time."
Metsola said the European Parliament is a steady and reliable partner on energy security, preparedness and the European Union's long-term budget in the period ahead for Europe, adding that work on these issues is continuing.
