The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the aggressive statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his son against French President Emmanuel Macron over his recent stance on recognizing the State of Palestine.

The Ministry viewed these statements as a clear admission that Netanyahu continues his hostility toward peace based on a two-state solution, rejects international legitimacy, and disregards the political process in favor of violence and military solutions.

The Ministry stressed that such colonialist attitudes should prompt France and the European Union to accelerate steps toward recognizing the State of Palestine, thereby contributing to the preservation of the two-state solution and to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
